family. love. joy.
Meeting up with these three on Mother’s day was a perfect end to the day. Capturing special moments for families makes my heart happy!!! Enjoy!!
beauty. love. new.
A few weekends ago I got to shoot these adorable two lovebirds. I had only emailed with them back and forth about their big day, since they were coming in from out of town, and I have to admit – I was a bit worried. I normally meet with my bride and groom, get to see their energy together, see if I would fit their vibe to be shooting them all day and so going in blind had me feeling nervous. And let me tell you, there was no reason for that! I show up and they are first off such sweethearts and so laid back – but you could also tell that they really loved each other. I wish you two nothing but happiness for your future!! — and yes, I know I am sharing WAY TOO MANY PHOTOS — but I just couldn’t edit down!
creative. fun. beauty.
I shot Kris along with her extended family last year, and was excited to hear from her about wanting head shots… We chatted about what she was looking for – She works in the corporate world and wanted updated head shots but she wanted to think a bit outside the box and she was going to let my creative brain work (which always makes a photographer happy!!) I always make sure to have a few ‘for sure’ standard pics and then we went and had FUN! I LOVE these shots.
life. forever. love.
I met Maggie through a good friend – the first time we met we talked swimming, the second time we met we talked about her wedding and I knew immediately that I would love to shoot her big day! She is relaxed and so sweet and then I met her hubby to be and I totally get why they are getting married!! They really seem to dig each other and have so much fun!! We met up in the Arcadia area and went to a few different spots to capture their love!! I have to admit, I knew within the first few shots that this photo shoot was going to rock – and when I got back to my computer it was confirmed! I love WAY TO MANY of the photos!!
sisters. bond. love.
I had a blast shooting these two girls who came into town from Omaha with their mom for vacation to enjoy Arizona’s nice weather. This was the 2nd year in a row that I got to shoot them and they make my sessions so much fun!! These sisters made me think a lot about my sister, two girls that are quite different in personalities and looks but love each other as a best friend. I need to get on my dad to get our pictures turned from slides to digitals so I can reminisce about ‘the good old days’. Enjoy!
