in love {phoenix, wedding photographer}

beauty. love. new.

A few weekends ago I got to shoot these adorable two lovebirds.  I had only emailed with them back and forth about their big day, since they were coming in from out of town, and I have to admit – I was a bit worried.  I normally meet with my bride and groom, get to see their energy together, see if I would fit their vibe to be shooting them all day and so going in blind had me feeling nervous.  And let me tell you, there was no reason for that! I show up and they are first off such sweethearts and so laid back – but you could also tell that they really loved each other.  I wish you two nothing but happiness for your future!!  — and yes, I know I am sharing WAY TOO MANY PHOTOS — but I just couldn’t edit down!

out of the box {phoenix, photographer}

creative.  fun.  beauty.

I shot Kris along with her extended family last year, and was excited to hear from her about wanting head shots… We chatted about what she was looking for – She works in the corporate world and wanted updated head shots but she wanted to think a bit outside the box and she was going to let my creative brain work (which always makes a photographer happy!!) I always make sure to have a few ‘for sure’ standard pics and then we went and had FUN!  I LOVE these shots.2016-03-22_00012016-03-22_00022016-03-22_00032016-03-22_00052016-03-22_00062016-03-22_0007

in love. {phoenix, wedding photographer}

life.  forever.  love.

I met Maggie through a good friend – the first time we met we talked swimming, the second time we met we talked about her wedding and I knew immediately that I would love to shoot her big day!  She is relaxed and so sweet and then I met her hubby to be and I totally get why they are getting married!! They really seem to dig each other and have so much fun!! We met up in the Arcadia area and went to a few different spots to capture their love!! I have to admit, I knew within the first few shots that this photo shoot was going to rock – and when I got back to my computer it was confirmed! I love WAY TO MANY of the photos!!

sisters {phoenix, family photographer}

sisters.  bond.  love.

I had a blast shooting these two girls who came into town from Omaha with their mom for vacation to enjoy Arizona’s nice weather.  This was the 2nd year in a row that I got to shoot them and they make my sessions so much fun!! These sisters made me think a lot about my sister, two girls that are quite different in personalities and looks but love each other as a best friend.  I need to get on  my dad to get our pictures turned from slides to digitals so I can reminisce about ‘the good old days’.  Enjoy!

erin + dave {phoenix, wedding photographer}

love. fun. laughter.

I met Erin over 15 years ago, we met day 1 on a journey we took across the world.  Heading out on the open water we traveled for 100 days on a ship to visit many different countries on Semester at Sea. You get to know someone real quick when you are on a boat for days at a time and I was lucky enough to have found her right off!  Through the years we have traveled for our studies, traveled for fun, been roommates, we have laughed together, cried together (you should see her cry at a commercial/tv show/movie -its amazing) and kept our friendship strong even though we have lived in different states for a while.  I feel lucky to have her in my life and I now feel really happy that she has met Dave and will be starting her life out with him in a few months.  You guys rock and thank you for letting me capture some moments of you two! Can’t wait for the wedding!
